I’m sure you know but GTA V recently had an update where they implemented an anti-cheat system known as “Battleye” where you must enable it in the Rockstar Launcher in order to access your online account. Unfortunately for us Linux/Steam Deck users they removed the option in our menus for absolutely no reason at all.

Aug 13, 2022 · Rightclick gtav in steam, properties, local files tab, browse local files. It should be 'there' (turn on file extensions if necessary, view hidden/system files, etc). If it isn't there, and you've conveniently left out other details of the story... like why you need it, if you are using mods, what you are trying to do, etc. /shrug
