Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)

I just went to play the sims 4 after a couple of months of being away from it and origin was gone so i had to get the EA app. I logged in my Xbox and it made me update and download the sims4. I just looked at my game and all of my expansion packs are gone.
