Sir John Young "Jackie" Stewart (born 11 June 1939) is a British former racing driver, broadcaster and motorsport executive from Scotland, who competed in Formula One from 1965 to 1973.

His outstanding track record still ranks him among the most successful champions, yet in terms of personally influencing the way Formula 1 racing developed Jackie Stewart stands alone. His one-man safety crusade made the sport much safer.
