Jun 23, 2005 · Also I would keep in mind that North Linx is not even open, there is no ski partol at all in case of emergency. Skiing out there and getting injured would mean you will pay for the extraction. I wouldn't be entising people to go do what you did. I am not saying you didn't have fun but for the general public it is certainly not a good idea.

Today get sweet turns on Pushover and Slowpoke. Don't let the names of the trails fool you. Pushover can add technical skiing if you ski it backwards on one leg.

Jan 23, 2025 · I failed to properly relate this to my skiing above. I do a decent carved turn to one side but the other skids a bit involuntarily. While trying to correct my lower back tweaks a bit. Reading I’ve done says that if your hip has limited mobility, other body parts (like your back) will try to compensate, and it all seems to fit in my case.

Nov 21, 2024 · They turned off most of the guns at about 11:15 and the skiing got pretty good as it got colder and the snow drained. Hoping for decent terrain expansion next week. Might take a trip to K, pretty tired of the same few trails even though conditions are very good.

Jun 23, 2005 · its still the obvious best deal in skiing for anyone who travels on at least one big destination trip and/or enjoys bouncing around a region a lot without a strong tether to one resort/town i work around the worst crowding by supplementing my ikon with an indy. in the future i'd consider supplementing with other options like NY3, MRG or Smuggs ...
Trying to watch Skiing and Snowboarding on regular TV is almost ...
Jan 11, 2025 · It seems like most of the LIVE or REPLAYS of Snow sports (Skiing and Snowboarding etc.) are all online and behind paywalls these days. They seem to be only online now. Even a couple of years ago It used to be almost every weekend regular TV had Skiing or Snowboarding on during the Winter at some point in the day.

Nov 15, 2021 · With the Cascade/Snowdance combo skiing well and a nice dry ride on the Bluebird, I ended up taking 8 more runs off the summit and skied right to closing (unfortunately in the pouring rain the last run). For some reason North Face never reopened after Bluebird opened which was a bummer, would've liked to have checked out Freefall.
The Over $300 lift ticket has arrived. FU#K OFF at those prices.
Dec 20, 2024 · Exactly this. You can do everything possible to introduce kids to the sport, but peer influence can change everything. Even earlier than teen years. My daughter is a dancer. We were at her recital Saturday instead of skiing. My son is a drummer. I'm certain we will miss many days skiing in the future attending his school concerts.
