Oct 3, 2022 · Before buying a game, Google if it’s PS4 version have a free upgrade to PS5, like Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon Forbidden west etc. If it does not have a free upgrade, go with PS5 version. Some PS4 games don’t have a PS5 upgrade at all, but have patches from devs for 60 FPS like Outer Worlds.

Luckily, I contacted my bank a day later as soon as I realized I'd been had and they reversed the charge. I would definitely buy PS5 Pro if it is at the same price point like PS5 and PS5 prices drops further. On top of that, I expect it to do a full native 4K 60 fps ray tracing. 24 GB VRAM, 1 TB storage is a must.

Dec 7, 2023 · if the slim is much cheaper get the slim, but it's worse then the OG model. performance is the same, but build quality is worse with the slim and it gets a little bit hotter and louder. for traveling it may be better, but i would suggest to take your ps5 with you anyway. the hdmi cable shouldn't be unplugged all the time, since the hdmi ports die pretty quickly.

Jun 2, 2023 · As a guy with both systems, I wouldn’t buy either, since both have imminent hardware refreshes coming. PS5 is massive and really they should be able to package it smaller 3 years later. Switch is awesome, but again, aging hardware. They will release something at some point soon. I would buy whichever one gets new hardware first.

May 8, 2023 · I have a PS5 and some games like Jedi Survivor are now struggling to maintain 60 fps on performance mode. If you have a VRR capable tv then you won't notice fps drops. Other than games like Jedi Survivor or Arkham Knights and A Plague Tale Requiem having a 30 fps lock, its a pretty good console.

Feb 14, 2023 · They'll be announcing ps5 pro probably late this year or early 2024, if rumors are true. Ps5 regular probably isn't the smartest purchase at this point. Buy a launch ps3 and explore the wide world of ps1-3 before it becomes the next big collecting craze (already begun).

Aug 12, 2023 · No reason to wait for slim as no performance improvements and not like PS5 launch models are having high failure rates. Pro harder to say, just a matter of how bad you want to play PS5 games now (or better versions of cross gen games) vs. waiting until sometime next year at the earliest for a pro mode. I'd just buy as I plan to skip the pro model.

May 1, 2023 · lmao you could spend half that and have a full price game or two to buy with the change on ps5. youre american (i assume) so you get best prices too. in uk your $1200 becomes £1200 (about$1500) for equivalent parts. then once you sit down to play games you get a shoddily optimised mess or indie games you could have ran on a jalopy.
