Sep 1, 2022 · I don't think you'll have any problems using the Crucial RAM along with the OEM RAM, even if you have to mix the pairs. FWIW, RAM that Dell installs will be from a major manufacturer, eg, Hynix, Samsung, Micron (owns Crucial brand). So I don't think you'd have any problems selling it as "new", and at a good price too, if it comes to that.

Apr 22, 2020 · Crucial RAM works fine plus they guarantee 100% compatibility and a limited lifetime warranty, but I am not sure why you picked the single memory module which you have to buy two versus the 16GB kit (2x8GB). I am sure the Dell product is fine but you can purchase the Crucial 16GB kit for less than the cost of a single memory module from Dell.
