Is keeping the battery between 20 and 80 % still a thing?
Oct 17, 2022 · I actively used that Z10 for 4 years. The battery was always underpowered from the start - being 1800 mAh. It averaged between 14 to 16 hours on a charge. Remember, this is active daily cell phone use, which it doesn't do anymore. But I still regularly topped it all the way all the time, including leaving it on the charger every night.

Dec 24, 2012 · Regardless, cell phones should always be able to recharge when a battery runs out by plugging in unless the battery is just dead/faulty. Those that have that issue should have tried to get the battery replaced under warranty. If you're phone is within warranty, I'd contact Samsung support or your carrier for options.

Sep 26, 2013 · back in the early 1990s when cell phones were still analog, I got fed up with poor reception in my rural area.... took a drill and installed a 4-foot antenna on the roof of my pick-up truck, then added a 5-watt analog cell signal booster.... no longer had access to indoor parking, but that big ugly antenna gave me perfect reception almost anywhere.
