I was wondering if anyone figured out how to extend the transmit on the GMRS PRO, from the standard FRS/ GMRS allocation to allow the 70-centimeter band?

Oct 9, 2024 · Using the Btech GMRS app on my Samsung phone, I've been setting up custom channel groups and sending them to the radio. The radio has 6 channel groups with group 1 being reserved (manual states this) for the preprogrammed 30 GMRS channels. I say this is great because I can always return to channel group 1 if I should desire to scan all channels.

Apr 9, 2024 · The BTech GMRS v2(same basic radio as the Baofeng UV-82) can go to vfo mode by holding down the menu button when you turn on the radio but it doesn't unlock it. Yea.. that's what it was a uv82. And no that by its self didn't unlock it.

Jan 7, 2024 · Looking to upgrade from my Radioddity DB-20G to radio with more watts. was wondering about opinions on this radio, or if anyone is running it. If anyone has a suggestion on a good mobile radio in the 40 to 50 watt range they would be appreciated. I will be running my Browning B-176s antenna with it.
