Jun 10, 2023 · The children’s area on the north end of the floor was renovated in the spring of 2023. It has a play area for toddlers – for peaceful playing! There is a big collection of board games to be played in the library. The big balcony is open from spring to autumn.

Aug 10, 2023 · You can eat and play in the children’s area, but please clean up after yourself. Books that have been read can be placed in the trollies at the end of the shelves, where library staff will collect them and return them to their proper places.

Jan 2, 2025 · Oodi’s lending services can be found on Helmet web library. Oodi is Helsinki’s new Central Library and a living meeting place. It will function as a living room for residents, located right at the heart of Helsinki.

Kuutio (Cube), a glass-walled space of 90 square metres (960 square feet), can be reserved for meetings of up to 50 people or for displaying media art. Game room is only available persons over 15 years of age and all the gamers must have a library card. Please check in with the library staff before the start of the space reservation.
