TURBALOY®4130 is a popular high strength, low alloy steel wire used for fabricating alloys of similar composition to produce joints with good toughness, strength and reproducibility. Universal engineering alloy. MATERIALS TO BE WELDED. Pre-heat and post-weld heat treatment are necessary for most applications.
Techalloy® 4130 is a high strength, low alloy welding wire for joining steels of similar chemical composition, as well as for overlays where moderate hardness is required - Offered in TIG, MIG, and SAW welding products.
FSX 414LC (TURBALOY ® 414LC) and NOZZALOY ® welding wire and rod are available with extremely tight control of harmful impurity elements and interstitial gases used for MRO IGT nozzles, blades and vane restoration on alloys such as IN738 and FSX414.
TURBALOY 4130 is In-Stock at Kemko Aerospace, a California based company dedicated solely to the supply of high-technology chemicals such as: Coatings, Sealants, Resins, Adhesives, Lubricants and Cleaners.
Wire is packaged in sealed vapor barrier envelopes, flag tagged on one end and containing 5lbs in each package. This is the highest quality filler wire available for aeospace, race car and other critical applications. Each 5 lb. package is for sale at $150.00 ea. plus actual shipping charges.

I'm welding 4130 tubing and was interested in using the metallurgically controlled welding rod. The type I can find for example is Turbaloy 4130 or AMS 6457. Would these require post heat treating? I use ER80 rod now and it does not require post heat treating.
