This booklet is part of the Rajya Sabha Practice and Procedure Series which seeks to describe, in brief, the procedure and functioning of the Committee on Petitions of Rajya Sabha. It is based on the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Rajya Sabha and some of the important Reports submitted by the Committee to the House from time to time.
