After a summer that saw him scrimmage against—and wow—some of the best basketball players in the world, Cooper Flagg is now impressing against some of the best college players in the nation as a freshman for Duke.

Many New England basketball fans will be tuned in to watch Maine native Cooper Flagg and his No. 3 Duke Blue Devils play against the Boston College Eagles in Chestnut Hill on Saturday night.This is the first time in over a year that many friends and family members who live in Maine will be able to watch Flagg play in person.

Duke basketball star Cooper Flagg received praise from Coach K, one of the best coaches in the history of the game.

Magic Johnson was the only one of the three to play college basketball, and hit the ground running averaging 17 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.4 assists as a freshman at Michigan State. He would lead the team to the Elite Eight, a year before the Spartans famously beat Larry Bird and Indiana State in the national championship.

Duke phenom Cooper Flagg has taken college basketball by storm, and now he's earned a bold declaration from legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski, who just called him "the best player in the country.

Cooper Flagg continues his dominance in college basketball, as he helped Duke basketball extend their winning streak to 11 games.

That's not all. Flagg also became the first Duke basketball talent to record at least 35 points, five rebounds, and five assists in any game since his head coach, Jon Scheyer, dropped 36 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists in a home win over Gardner-Webb on Dec. 15, 2009.
