With just a day left for Delhi Election results, exit polls have predicted a significant win for the BJP, hinting at a potential shift in power.

The Delhi assembly election 2025 voting commenced at 7 am and concluded at 6 pm. The counting of votes will take place on February 8. After the voting concluded, all eyes turned to exit polls, with most of the pollsters predicting landslide victory for the BJP and only a few suggesting leverage for the ruling AAP in the national capital elections.

In the 70-seat assembly, 36 seats are required for a majority. Currently, AAP holds 62 seats, BJP has 8, and Congress has none.

Most of the over a dozen pollsters, barring two, which made public their predictions on Wednesday, predicted an NDA win in the Delhi Assembly

Axis My India, run by psephologist Pradeep Gupta, predicted that the BJP would win between 45 to 55 seats. It predicted the BJP and its allies would secure a 48 percent vote share. The AAP was given 15-25 seats and a vote share of 42 percent. Keeping the Congress at a distant third, Axis My India predicted 0 to 1 seats for the grand old party.

Axis My India and Today’s Chanakya have predicted a runaway win for the BJP in Delhi, suggesting a comeback for the party to power in the capital after a gap of 26 years.
