As deadly wildfires continue to rage in Los Angeles, a Republican congressman from Texas says federal lawmakers will consider tying relief funding for California to policy changes in the state.

A number of Republicans are calling for conditions to any federal aid that goes to California as the state struggles with catastrophic wildfires.

Texas firefighters are suited up on the West Coast, working alongside scores of other fire departments to try to get California's wildfires under control.
