Round 2 of the 2025 Australian Open is here! The first games were played on Day 4, and while many of the top-seeded stars made it through to Round 3, there were also a few surprising upsets along the way.

Naomi Osaka beat Karolina Muchova 1-6, 6-1, 6-3 at the Australian Open, reaching the third round at a Grand Slam for the first time since her return from maternity leave.

Osaka is back in the third round of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time since 2022, getting there with wins over two women who blocked her path last year.
