A burial service for Aga Khan IV, the 49th hereditary imam of the Shiite Ismaili Muslims, was held in the southern Egyptian province of Aswan on Sunday.

Explosives allegedly planted by militants were activated as the Israeli military expanded its operation in the Nur Shams urban refugee camp area, sending plumes of white and black smoke into the sky.
