Just as we spotted Google prepping earlier this week, the Pixel Watch is starting to get a new workflow for activating Emergency SOS.

Google is rolling out an update for the Pixel Watch that will add an extra step for its Emergency SOS feature. The change requires five crown taps and pressing and holding the screen to initiate a call. Users can revert to the original method by selecting "Automatically call" in settings.

The good news is that the current method to activate Emergency SOS isn't going away. The code shows that the users will be given an option to choose. In addition, Google will also apparently be revamping the current method by adding a five-second delay before emergency services are contacted, which should mitigate most issues.
