The Goldsboro Police Department received a ShotSpotter alert from Madison Avenue on Monday night. Once officers arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, 38 year old Kevin Posey,

According to the Goldsboro Police Department, officers responded at around 5:48 p.m. to a ShotSpotter alert on the 600 block of W. Oak Street. While investigating the alert, police said a man arrived at UNC Health Wayne with apparent gunshot wounds.
