Dollar General found an executive to fill its newly created position of EVP of strategy and development within its own ranks.

Dollar General named Steve Deckard as executive vice president of strategy and development and Tracey Herrmann as executive vice president of store operations.

Steve Deckard will oversee the expansion of the retailer’s footprint, and Tracey Herrmann was promoted to executive vice president of store operations.
