The Dallas Cowboys are entering their second week of searching for a head coach after moving on from Mike McCarthy last week. As of Monday morning, three interviews have been requested by the Jones family but there are names expected to be added to their list of candidates as they take it slow with their search.

Dallas needs a new football coach and owner Jerry Jones is at least kicking the tires on Deion Sanders. After parting ways with Mike McCarthy following five seasons without a playoff run, owner Jerry Jones spoke with Sanders about the coaching opening. Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports was first to report the news, calling Coach Prime a “top candidate.”

After five seasons with Mike McCarthy at the helm, the Dallas Cowboys are on the hunt for a new head coach. The next head coach will be tasked with succeeding where so many of his predecessors have failed.
