According to Bellevue Police, around 5:04 p.m. on Saturday, police answered calls about a car crash on Bel-Red Road between 140th Avenue Northeast and 140th Avenue Northeast. When police arrived, they found a single car involved in a crash.

The woman, the only person in the car, was pronounced dead on the scene. Preliminary investigation shows the woman was traveling southbound and lost control of the vehicle. The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating what caused the crash.
