Discount store Big Lots is expected to close more stores across the country after a deal made with the company’s new owner.

Another big cut is coming to Big Lots' store base as the retailer's new owner puts more than 500 sites up for sale.

The states with the most Big Lots locations up for sale on the list are Texas (72), New York (49) and Florida (44).
