Rohit Sharma has ended a poor run of form with his 32nd ODI hundred as India beat England by four wickets in the second one-day cricket international to win the series.

After handing England a crushing 3-0 defeat in the ODI series, India have become clear favourites going into the Champions Trophy. After the third ODI on Wednesday, Rohit Sharma discussed about the things India can improve upon before the marquee ICC event.

England crashed to a fourth successive ODI series loss after Rohit Sharma’s terrific 119 off 90 balls lifted India to a four-wicket win in Cuttack. Rohit shrugged off a poor run of form that had seen him average 10.37 in his last 16 innings across formats to belt 12 fours and seven sixes as India overhauled a target of 305 with 33 balls to spare.

England’s awful tour of India came to an end with a third straight defeat in the ODI series as the hosts completed a 7-1 victory overall. Bowling first for the first time in the series, England got the early wicket of Rohit Sharma,

India head coach Gautam Gambhir praised batter Shubman Gill after whitewashing England 3-0 in the ODI series with win in the third ODI on Feb 12. Gill had a wonderful series as a batter - scoring 259 runs in three innings at an average of 86.

Shubman Gill once again proved his class with a match-winning 112 off 102 balls in the final ODI against England in Ahmedabad, helping India secure a dominant 3-0 series victory. His exceptional performances throughout the series earned him the "Player of the Series" award,
