The dangerous winter storm has resulted in the deaths of at least 10 people across the U.S. and knocked out power for more than 120,000 customers in four states

Snow in the Sunshine State doesn't happen very often. But it did. And here are the photos from Pensacola to Yulee to prove it.

Parts of northern Florida received inches of snow overnight as a strong winter front moved in. Many areas continue to deal with the impacts of an Arctic blast. Snow and ice have fallen in areas along I-10 near Tallahassee. People in Florida are among the millions in the South who are feeling the effects.

Florida is expected to get the most snowfall that it has seen in over seven decades as the South suffers through a "once in a generation" winter storm.

The heaviest snowfall in the Sunshine State occurred around Pensacola, where spotters reported measuring amounts of 5-12 inches through Tuesday evening.
