The United States Military Academy at West Point has moved to dismantle 12 cadet organizations, including affinity groups and engineering societies, following President Donald Trump’s executive orders to eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the federal government.

The U.S. Military Academy disbanded 12 affinity groups and placed all other clubs under review, in accordance with President Trump's crackdown on DEI.

The U.S. Military Academy has disbanded a dozen West Point cadet clubs centered on ethnicity, gender, race and sexuality in response to the Trump administration’s push to eliminate diversity programs throughout government.
