Officials in eastern Tennessee say two people were killed when severe storms with two tornadoes moved through the region.

An EF2 tornado ravaged Morgan County on Thursday, leaving everything from damaged homes to RVs flipped upside down in its wake. Two people died and three more were injured.

Preliminary storm surveys determined that two tornadoes hit the region on Thursday, the National Weather Service said.
