Auschwitz survivors have warned of the rising antisemitism and hatred in the modern world as they gathered with world leaders and European royalty on the 80th anniversary of the death camp’s liberatio

Politicians were asked not to speak at this year's event, as it could be the last time survivors gather on 27 January, the date when the Soviets liberated the Nazi death camp in 1945. View on euronews

In all, 56 survivors gathered under a huge tent on Monday set up over a gate and railway tracks at the site of the former camp.
