Chevy Sonic hit the Peterbilt head-on, then bounced off and hit a telephone pole with the rear of the vehicle.

A 60-year-old was killed in a head-on accident with a truck in Heidelberg Township Thursday, Jan. 30, According to Pennsylvania State Police.

The tractor-trailer driver was not injured. State Police said the driver of the tractor-trailer tried to stop before the crash. Schaefferstown Fire, EMS and PennDOT helped at the scene.
