Carlos Alcaraz defeated Alex de Minaur 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 in the final of the Rotterdam Open on Sunday, claiming a first indoor trophy of his career alongside titles on grass, clay and hardcourt.

At 21 years old, Carlitos has already won 17 titles on the professional tour, one more than his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero. The latter did not follow Alcaraz to Rotterdam, having been replaced by Samuel Lopez, who officially joined the former world No. 1's team as of early 2025.

The top-seeded Alcaraz won 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 to become the first Spanish champion in the tournament’s 52-year history.
