Ontario is backing out of a $68 million contract with Starlink over President Donald Trump's tariffs on Canada, which are set to go into effect tomorrow.

Trump tariffs were the main issue at the start of the Ontario election campaign — in fact, Doug Ford called a snap vote, claiming he needed a strong mandate specifically to stand up to American protectionism.
