A Winter Weather Advisory for Buffalo and the Niagara Frontier has expired. A Winter Weather Advisory remains for southern Erie County, Wyoming, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties until 6 op.m. Wednesday. 2 to 4 inches of snow still possible for Southern Erie County, Wyoming county and into the Southern Tier, especially for the higher terrain.

The advisory issued by the National Weather Service State College calls for snow Sunday afternoon and evening followed by “lingering light freezing rain or freezing drizzle” in the late evening and overnight hours.
