Indonesia and India signed a wide range of agreements on Saturday covering culture, health, maritime, security and digital sectors. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto and India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of India's Republic Day celebrations on Sunday.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has met with visiting Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in New Delhi as the two countries signed cooperation agreements on health, defense, digital technology and maritime affairs to expand ties.

A Cultural Exchange Program was also signed between the Union Ministry of Culture and Indonesia's Ministry of Culture

Subianto arrived late Thursday on his first official visit to India since becoming the president last year. He will be the chief guest at India’s 76th Republic Day event on Sunday, marking the anniversary of the adoption of the country’s Constitution on Jan.

The visit of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to Delhi witnessed the signing and renewal of five Memorandums of Understanding on wide-ranging fields, including health, traditional medicine and maritime security.
