Authorities have detected a second case of bird flu at a poultry farm in Georgia's Elbert County. The case was found less than a week after a case was detected at a farm less than a mile away. It's the third case detected so far in 2025.

A second commercial case of avian influenza, or the “bird flu,” has been confirmed in northeast Georgia, according to the Georgia Department of Agriculture.
