Two young figure skaters and their mothers died when an American Airlines plane and a Black Hawk helicopter crashed in Washington D.C. Wednesday.

It was an emotional day Thursday at the Skating Club of Boston, as members mourned the loss of six members of the community in a plane crash near Washington, D.C.

The club's chief executive, Doug Zeghibe, identified the skaters as 16-year-old Spencer Lane and 13-year-old Jinna Han. Their mothers are Christine Lane and Jin Han, and the coaches are Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov.
