Crunchyroll announced a new anime series adapted from Sucker Punch Productions’ popular “Ghost of Tsushima” video game.

The new 'Crunchyroll Manga' appears to be the anime streamer revamping a shuttered service it used to offer to members as a standalone app.

Crunchyroll is launching a new standalone manga app for Android and iOS in 2025. The app will offer web support post-launch, initially in English for the US and Canada. Content details, pricing, or potential subscription are yet to be disclosed.

Rahul Purini, president of Crunchyroll, said in a news release that the Ghost of Tsushima anime “will offer fans an exciting new way to experience the game in an anime style that will be bold and groundbreaking.
