SAGINAW, MI — A Kentucky man has pleaded to leading police on a high-speed chase through Saginaw County, one that ended with the discovery of a hand grenade. Whether that grenade was an active explosive, though, remains to be determined.

After more than 40 years in prison, Morris was paroled Jan. 9, according to the Michigan Department of Corrections. She will remain on parole until Jan. 9, 2029, a few months shy of her 100th birthday. Bay City is about a 110-mile drive northwest from Detroit.
