The Seattle Kraken scored five consecutive goals in a span of less than 14 minutes and added an empty-netter as they overcame an early deficit to embarrass the Sabres 6-2 on Saturday afternoon in KeyBank Center.

Kaapo Kakko scored twice as the Seattle Kraken rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat the host Buffalo Sabres 6-2 Saturday. Oliver Bjorkstrand sparked Seattle, which was winless in its previous four games (0-3-1),
It was his first goal in 12 games (four assists). Bjorkstrand is prone to offensive spurts and slumps, and right now, he's certainly in a slump. Overall, the winger has 27 points, including 12 goals, in 42 games. Bjorkstrand's fantasy value is tough to time. Wait for a few scoring games in a row before you pluck him off the wire.
Kaapo Kakko scored twice in the third period, Joey Daccord made 33 saves and the Seattle Kraken overcame an early two-goal deficit to beat the Buffalo Sabres 6-2 on Saturday. Oliver Bjorkstrand gave Seattle the lead on a scramble in front of the net at 3:08 of the third.
Pegula watched as the Sabres blew a two-goal lead and allowed six unanswered goals for a 6-2 collapse to the Kraken.
According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, former Seattle Kraken defenseman Will Borgen requested a trade. Friedman had a lot to say about the quickly sinking Kraken team including Borgen requesting a trade before he was dealt to the New York Rangers in exchange for Kaapo Kakko.
Buffalo’s goals came from Sam Lafferty, his second of the season, and Jack Quinn, his third in the last two games. JJ Peterka tallied a pair of secondary assists. Sabres goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 24 saves on 29 shots.
The second period hasn’t always been kind to the Buffalo Sabres. They own a minus-12 goal differential in the middle frame and the Kraken took advantage and responded.
