The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the new jersey for the Indian cricket team's upcoming One Day International (ODI) series against England. Captain Rohit Sharma will lead the team in the new jersey during the three-match series against England,

The T20 World Champion will be facing the visiting side, Team England. As both teams prepare for the start of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy season, the start of the ODI three-game series starts. Rohit Sharma will be leading Team India while Jos Buttler will keep being the captain for Team England.

The three-match series that gets underway in Nagpur on Thursday will be the final ODIs for India as well as England ahead of the Champions Trophy, meaning both teams will be looking to finalise their ideal playing XI and fine-tune their strategies for the mega event over the course of the next one week.

Just before the start of the first ODI, India made a big addition to their squad in the form of Varun Chakravarthy. Former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar said that Indian selectors might have also discussed the name of Yuzvendra Chahal ,
