Kia recalled over 70,000 Sorento model vehicles because of an issue with the headlights and taillights. This recall covers certain 2024-2025 Sorento cars. Kia issued a recall of 74,469 Sorento model vehicles due to a software error that can cause a loss of low-beam headlights and taillights.

The remedy comes in the form of updated software for the body domain control unit, which is produced by Hyundai subsidiary Mobis

Kia is recalling nearly 75,000 Sorentos because their headlights and taillights may go out. The issue has been traced to a software problem, but no U.S. cases have been reported. Dealers will update the vehicle’s software and owner notifications will go out next month.
