Northern California is bracing for another winter storm this week, which is set to bring heavy rain and snow and impact holiday travelers. Here's the timing and totals we're expecting.

Tuesday morning was a cold start for commuters as temperatures across the Sacramento Valley reached below-freezing.

Parts of northern and central California saw more than two inches of rain Tuesday as Southern Californians face rain through Friday.

A Tsunami Advisory was issued on Saturday evening following 7.6 magnitude earthquake, which occurred southwest of the Cayman Islands in the Northwest Pacific. The National Tsunami Warning Center said sea-level fluctuations and strong ocean currents were possible in the aftermath of the earthquake but the threat did not rise to a Tsunami Warning.

Two atmospheric rivers have ended Northern California's dry spell, bringing heavy rains and setting records in San Francisco.
