The star-studded movie musical Golden , about the childhood of Pharrell Williams has been permanently shuttered and will not see release in any capacity. The film, originally titled Atlantis , was directed by Michel Gondry ( Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind ).
The new film, which was set in the apartment building where Williams grew up, had been shot and was in post-production, but has now been cancelled.
The cast included heavy hitters like Quinta Brunson, Bryan Tyree Henry, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Jaboukie Young-White.
