Scottsdale resident Wyndham Clark has grabbed the first round lead at the WM Phoenix Open, a stark departure from his recent form.

Wyndham Clark saved par after hitting his tee shot into the water on the par-4 17th hole and shot a bogey-free 7-under 64 to take a one-shot lead in the first round of the Phoenix Open.

You cant necessarily control the score and what happens to your golf ball, but you can control your thoughts, Clark said.
