Corey Graves is back on WWE NXT. Graves previously moved to the NXT commentary at NXT New Year’s Evil. In a deleted tweet, he implied that he was told that he’s not famous enough for his job, seemingly referring to Pat McAfee coming back to WWE RAW and Joe Tessitore moving to SmackDown.

Corey Graves has been absent from WWE since he shared his frustrations on social media about being moved from RAW to the NXT broadcast team.

Tonight’s episode of NXT got things started with the new NXT Champion Oba Femi, but there was one very conspicuous absence from the set, and it may be tied to some recent critical comments. That missing presence was WWE commentator Corey Graves,

Graves was previously in the booth for WWE SmackDown, but when WWE Raw moved to Netflix, Graves moved to NXT for NXT New Year's Evil. It was not clear if the move was permanent. Michael Cole and Pat McAfee called WWE Raw while Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett called WWE SmackDown.

The commentator was reportedly seen going through airport security in Orlando, Florida, where NXT is filmed. Graves had returned to the developmental announce team last week, sitting alongside Booker T and Vic Joseph, as WWE dissolved his partnership with Michael Cole.

In a potentially in-character tweet posted late Monday night, Corey Graves voiced his displeasure with being moved off WWE main roster commentary.

Unless an earlier report that says the announcer won’t be back is correct. Either way, all eyes are on the Jan. 21 episode, one week after Graves was allegedly pulled because of social media posts expressing his unhappiness at being assigned to NXT rather than Raw.
