Tulsi Gabbard has faced scrutiny for her support of Edward Snowden, a former government contractor who leaked information about U.S. intelligence programs.

While the Senate Finance Committee will vote Tuesday on whether to advance the nomination of RFK Jr. for HHS Secretary, Sen. Susan Collins has indicated she will vote for Tulsi Gabbard for director of national intelligence.
