In the 1890s, a jail and sheriff's residence was constructed. The project was part of the remodeling of the 1868 courthouse.

SHEBOYGAN — In 1864 ... Now, the Mojave Shipwreck is listed on the Wisconsin State Register of Historic Places. The Wisconsin Historical Society announced the listing on March 7.
