The Milwaukee Bucks community expected to end this week wrestling with the the end of Khris Middleton’s time in cream and green. In the weeks preceding the trade deadline, Middleton was transitioned to a bench role where he showed some promise before the wheels fell off again last week in a pair of scoreless performances.

The Milwaukee Bucks continued to fit some pieces around an early Wednesday trade that sent Khris Middleton to the Washington Wizards, as the Journal Sentinel learned they have added New York Knicks backup center Jericho Sims.

The Knicks traded reserve center Jericho Sims to the Milwaukee Bucks in a move that brings back shooting guard Delon Wright and cash considerations. The deal is part of the larger Khris Middleton for Kyle Kuzma deal involving the Bucks and Washington Wizards and was first reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania.
