German basketball star Dennis Schröder was traded to the Detroit Pistons, the NBA team said late on Thursday. The veteran guard began the season with the Brooklyn Nets, was traded to the Golden State Warriors in December and then was traded again to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday before being acquired by the Pistons as part of a five-team deal.

The Pistons will mark the ninth NBA team in Schröder’s career and the fourth team he was a part of this season. Schröder began 2024-25 with the Brooklyn Nets, then was traded to the Golden State Warriors on Dec. 15 and was dealt to the Jazz in the Butler trade on Wednesday.
