NASCAR Hall of Famer and seven-time Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson will be back behind the wheel in 2025. On Thursday, Johnson and Legacy Motor Club, the team he co-owns, announced a two-race schedule for the 2025 season, beginning with Johnson's attempt at his 22nd Daytona 500 and a potential milestone start in the Coca-Cola 600.

Johnson will attempt to make the field in the Daytona 500 next month and also has the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May. Since retiring from full-time NASCAR competition after the 2020 season, Johnson raced one part-time IndyCar Series season and then a full-time effort.
