Tesla rival will equip hatchback on sale for less than $10,000 with features usually found only on upscale vehicles

BYD threw a bombshell into China’s EV sector with its Monday reveal that its advanced driver assistance system—known as “God’s Eye”—is now available in over 20 models, with the cheapest model, the Seagull, priced at under $10,000.

God's Eye will come in three versions: triple LiDAR (A) for luxury models, single LiDAR (B) for premium brands, and triple-camera (C) for affordable models.
