The viewpoint is a lovely spot to look out over the dam. There were various water birds to observe and it makes a nice backdrop for photographs. Binoculars are definitely recommended.Full review by Jacob H

Also, here very low water level. The dam was inaugurated on the 9th of September 1972, it's the third largest dam in Namibia and holds 69 million m3 water.Full review by 208erwinh

Me and my girl visited the dam..we drove to a gravel road to the backside of the dam, and when we reach it, we had a cold beer. We discoverd a lot of rubbish lying arround..and we've cleaned it up. …Full review by kobusg2019
